Event of the Spanish ambassadors of the EU Climate Pact in Madrid

On December 15, the Spanish ambassadors of the EU Climate Pact met at the European Commission Representation in Madrid to discuss experiences and perspectives following the COP 28 World Climate Conference.

Opening of the meeting by Marta García, representative of Ecoserveis. It was the first meeting to take place under the coordination of Ecoserveis as the new country coordinator.

Welcome by Adrián Lasa, Communication Officer of the Representation of the European Commission in Spain.

Ambassador Elena López Gunn gave an excellent presentation, which was complemented by comments from Carmen Marqués, both of whom had attended COP 28. The presentations and discussions were visualized by Isabel de Olano.

The public part of the conference was broadcast live on YouTube and can be seen here (as the conference started a little late, the film begins at minute 15:30):

After a break, Ambassador Maía Gálvaz reported on the Blue Zone Forum, Jesús Iglesias on the project in Aranda and Karla Zambrano on her dissertation on climate protection in international, European and Spanish law during the internal meeting on current activities.
